Example 3

Q: Find the following for 18π/5:
        a. the smallest positive coterminal angle.
        b. the reference angle.

Solution:  Run DEG2RAD.  How?

Choose '3' for
coterminal and
reference angles.

Choose '2' to enter
the angle as a
radian measure.

Enter 18π/5 for
the angle.

The program reports
these answers in
degrees only:

Run the program again, choosing '1' to change these degree measures into radians.

Interpretation: A coterminal angle (but not the only one) is 288° or  8π/5.  The reference angle is 72° or  2π/5.  (Use menu item 1 to change the angles from degrees to radians.)
